Under their NHS contracts in England, all GP surgeries are required to have a Patient Participation Group (PPG). We are the PPG for Simpson House Medical Centre. The Practice has a patient list of more than 10,000 local people.
What We Do
We act as the link between patients and Practice, representing the views, issues and needs of the patients using the services at Simpson House.
The Group meets with Practice members around 4 times a year. Anyone over 18 who is a registered patient at the Practice is entitled to attend. Meetings are normally held on a Thursday at midday in the Conference Room.
What You Can Do
The PPG has a small committee, but in order to fully represent the patient body, we also need as many members as possible. If you are 18+ and a registered patient, you can help by becoming a member and giving us your views and opinions about the services at the Practice, whether you have any issues, suggestions or requests for improvements or new services. Your care, your voice!
